Journal of Vascular Surgery: Venous and Lymphatic Disorders aims to be the premier international Journal of medical, endovascular and surgical management of venous and lymphatic disorders. The Journal publishes high quality clinical, and laboratory research papers, case series, reviews, guidelines, techniques, and practice manuscripts related to all aspects of venous, lymphatic disease, and wound care with an emphasis on the practicing clinician. The journal seeks to provide novel and timely information to vascular surgeons, interventionalists, phlebologists, wound care specialists, and allied health professionals who treat patients presenting with venous and lymphatic disease. Journal of Vascular Surgery: Venous and Lymphatic Disorders is the official publication of the Society of Vascular Surgery® and the American Venous Forum.

Peter Gloviczki, MD, FACS, is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Vascular Surgery Publications, a position he has held since July of 2016. He is the Joe M. and Ruth Roberts Professor of Surgery (Emeritus) of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. He served as Division Chair (2000 - 2010) and as Director of the Mayo Clinic Gonda Vascular Center (2002 - 2010).

Dr. Ruth L. Bush is Assistant Editor for Venous Vantage Point of the JVS-VL. She practices vascular surgery at the Central Texas VA and is the founding Associate Dean for Medical Education and Professor at the University of Houston College of Medicine.

Dr. Alan Dardik is a surgeon-scientist who uses the power of molecular biology to achieve a modern understanding of vascular disease, using the basic science laboratory to ultimately benefit patients with vascular disease. He a Vice Chair of Yale's Department of Surgery where he is charged with Faculty Affairs and focuses his clinical practice on teaching at the VA Connecticut.

Dr. Dardik currently serves as the Editor for the newly-launched journal JVS-Vascular Science; he is the President of the Association of VA Surgeons and the President-elect of the New England Society for Vascular Surgery.

Dr DiMuzio serves as Assistant Editor for Social Media of all JVS publications. He is the William M. Measey Professor of Surgery, Director of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Co-Director of the Jefferson Vascular Center. He completed an MBA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2018. Dr DiMuzio ran a NIH-funded laboratory that developed an artificial artery composed of adult stem cells.

Dr. Daniel K. Han is Assistant professor of Surgery and Radiology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY. He is affiliated with the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital, among others. Dr. Han has a strong interest in the surgical education and he is appointed as the Co-Director for the Surgery Clerkship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Dr. Lawrence has served as the Senior Editor of the Journal of Vascular Surgery journals since 2016. He is the past president of the Society for Vascular Surgery and currently serves as the Wiley Barker Chief of the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery division at UCLA and director of the Gonda Vascular Center.

Dr. Moneta currently is Associate Editor of the JVS-VL. He is Professor of Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and the Knight Cardiovascular Institute. He served 17 years as OHSU Chief of Vascular Surgery. His bibliography includes 412 chapters/articles. He has been an assistant or associate editor for the Journal of Vascular Surgery for 16 years.

Dr. Cynthia Shortell serves as Associate Editor for Special Features of the JVS Venous and Lymphatic Disorders. Following her Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital she joined the faculty. In 2005, she was recruited to Duke University Medical Center, where she is Professor and Chief of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and serves as Chief of Staff for the Department of Surgery.

Jessica has been with the JVS Journals for more than 10-years. In that time, she has managed multiple leadership transitions, relocated the Editorial Office from Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon NH to the Society for Vascular Surgery Offices in Chicago and helped to launch three new JVS Journals.

Alexandria manages the JVS-VL production schedule, assists the Editor-in-Chief in planning each issue, and coordinates editor summary videos, press-releases, visual abstracts, and CME exams.

As the Managing Editor of JVS-Vascular Science, Tyler is responsible for the Journal's day-to-day activities from manuscript submission to publication. Tyler coordinates closely with JVS-VS Editors to set Journal policy and grow and promote the Journal to surgeon scientists.

After graduating from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication Studies, Carlee spent a year living and working in Dublin, Ireland. She joined the Society for Vascular Surgery Staff in Rosemont, IL in May 2018.
